On the 18th December 2019, the Gozo Business Chamber together with other eight entities signed a memorandum of understanding which enables the creation of the Malta Business Disability Forum. This Forum aim to build closer ties between the disability and business sectors. The other eight entities included the four founding members: the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD); the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry; the Malta Employers’ Association; and the Malta Chamber of SMEs; together with the Malta Federation Organisation of Persons with Disability (MFOPD); the Faculty for Social Wellbeing; the Office of the Commissioner for Mental Health; and the Local Councils Association. The aim of this Forum is to build closer ties between the disability and business sectors through dialogue between persons with disability and business organisations.
