The National Statistics Office published the statistics in relation to the residential property transactions for the month of May. The number of final deeds of sale registered in May 2023 was of 146 final deeds compared to 205 final deeds in May 2022. This represents a decrease of 28.8% over the same month last year. On the other hand the number of promise of sale agreements registered an increase over the same month last year. In May 2022 the number of promise of sale agreements in Gozo was of 167 agreements, when compared to 113 in May of last year, an increase of 47.8%.
