The CEO of the Chamber, Daniel Borg and Dr Stephen Abela, advisor on the project, are currently participating in the General Assembly and Review Meeting of the H2020 MAESHA project being held at the premises of EVN in Vienna.
Several workshops are taking place to address current challenges and opportunities, such as the implementation of EV charging stations, the solar social housing communities, residential demand response, and the energy communities already created and the ones about to be created. Discussions are underway about the design of a tailored energy and flexibility market framework for islands, and to address the implementation of the project in Mayotte and the next steps planned. As a follower island Gozo will assess the replicability of actions being implemented on the island of Mayotte.
