The Gozo Business Chamber had a positive meeting in its offices in Gozo with the Prime Minister of Malta, the Honourable Dr Robert Abela, and the Minister for Gozo, the Honourable Dr Justyne Caruana.  Various themes were discussed including the issues of governance and Gozo’s needs.  The Chamber reiterated its commitment of a sustainable model for Gozo that respects the environment, and that is built on good governance and strong institutions.  The Chamber remarked that it has always worked in favour of Gozo’s interests both at a local, national and international level.  The President of the Gozo Business Chamber, Joseph Borg repeated his remarks made during the Chamber’s 20th year anniversary, that governance built on ethical and transparent foundations, is necessary for the country to progress.  The Chamber thanks the Prime Minister  for  having met with the  Council of the Chamber in its offices.
