Still unsure of what you stand to gain from becoming a member of the Gozo Business Chamber? We have listed five top reasons why we believe that it pays you to join our growing family of Gozo-based businesses. A one-time admission fee of €40 together with an annual fee of €40 will unlock a host of benefits, which will help you ensure your business’s success.

  1. Attend training sessions and networking events

Gozo Business Chamber members are given regular opportunities to attend training sessions and network with other business owners. The activities that are organised by the Chamber are aimed towards giving like-minded individuals the space where to exchange best practices, share success stories, and identify opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Recognising that Gozitan businesses needed more support than ever to weather the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, between 2020 and 2021, the Chamber organised 18 activities, despite the challenges and limitations brought on by the pandemic.

  1. Access expert advice

Business owners who need advice to steer their company through a challenging patch or information on legislation governing a particular sector, to mention just a couple of matters, can always count on a pool of experienced individuals for free guidance and assistance.

  1. Be informed

Running a business is no easy feat, very often leaving owners with little time to seek out new opportunities. The Chamber ensures that its members never miss a beat by keeping them informed of business events and conferences taking place locally and abroad, together with business opportunities that arise from time to time.

  1. Have your say

Chamber members are given the platform to have their say on issues that matter the most to them. In turn, the interests of Chamber members, and the island of Gozo at large, are represented on a local and European level, through the Chamber’s active participation in a number of committees and fora.

Throughout the past years, the Chamber has been instrumental in proposing initiatives aimed towards ensuring Gozitan businesses’ growth and success, despite challenges such as double insularity. Some of the Chamber’s proposals that have already come to fruition include the introduction of a fourth ferry between Malta and Gozo, the construction of a multi-storey car park in Victoria, and the provision of additional support to Gozo-based businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  1. Gain better visibility

A Gozo Business Chamber membership can help you gain better visibility in the community and strengthen your business’s credibility. Upon becoming a member, your business will be listed on the Chamber’s online directory alongside some of the most trusted and established homegrown brands.
