On 15 October 2025, the Gozo Business Chamber (GBC) and the Gozo Regional Development Authority (GRDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two entities in promoting Gozo’s sustainable economic and social development.
The MoU establishes a framework of collaboration through which both organisations will work together on specific initiatives, including the Business Sentiment Survey, the Youth4Entrepreneurship Gozo initiative, and the Europe Direct Gozo – EkoSkola Award. It also provides the basis for wider cooperation in research, data and joint projects that contribute to Gozo’s regional development objectives.
This agreement builds upon the strong relationship that already exists between the GRDA and the GBC, reaffirming their shared commitment to support Gozo’s business community, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute to evidence-based policymaking for the island’s long-term prosperity.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ivan Falzon, Chief Executive Officer of the Gozo Regional Development Authority, and Mr. Daniel Borg, Chief Executive Officer of the Gozo Business Chamber.
