The Gozo Business Chamber welcomed the Ambassador of Turkey to Malta, H.E. Barkin Kayaoğlu, for a cordial meeting at the Chamber’s offices in Victoria, Gozo, on 11 June 2026. The Ambassador was accompanied by Fethi Etem, Deputy Chief of Mission.
The Chamber was represented by its President Michael Galea and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Borg.
During the meeting, the Chamber presented its work and its vision for Gozo’s economic development, with particular reference to the importance of strengthening international dialogue and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and to discuss ways through which stronger links may be developed between the business communities of Gozo and Turkey.
The Gozo Business Chamber remains committed to fostering constructive relationships with international partners, in line with its objective of supporting the sustainable economic development and diversification of Gozo.
