The Gozo Business Chamber recently hosted representatives from the Chamber of Engineers as part of a stakeholder visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and supporting Gozo’s economic and industrial development.

The meeting, held at the Chamber’s offices, provided an opportunity to outline the role of the Gozo Business Chamber in representing and safeguarding the interests of the Gozitan business community. Discussions focused on key regional challenges, including connectivity, skills availability, and talent retention, while also identifying areas of mutual interest where closer cooperation could be developed.

As part of the visit, the delegation also carried out a site visit at Hutchinson in Xewkija. During the visit, participants were given an overview of the company’s operations and gained first-hand insight into Gozo’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and the contribution of industry to the island’s economic diversification.

The visit reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration between professional bodies, industry, and representative organisations, with a shared commitment to delivering long-term value for Gozo’s economy and community.
