The Gozo Business Chamber, in collaboration with Transport Malta, successfully organised an information session on Responsible Road Use on 30 April 2026 at the Hall of the Gozo Regional Development Authority (GRDA).
The session, delivered by the Malta Police Force, focused on a number of key aspects related to road safety and the updated legal framework concerning impaired driving. Topics addressed included the effects of alcohol and substance abuse on driving ability, the risks associated with dangerous driving practices, and the importance of responsible behaviour on the road.
Participants were also provided with practical guidance on the appropriate actions to take in the event of an accident, as well as an overview of relevant traffic regulations and enforcement measures currently in place.
The session generated strong interaction from attendees, with a number of practical questions and discussions emerging throughout, reflecting the relevance of the subject matter to both individuals and businesses.
The Gozo Business Chamber would like to thank Transport Malta and the Malta Police Force for their collaboration and contribution towards raising awareness on the importance of safer and more responsible road use.
Through initiatives such as these, the Chamber continues to support its members and the wider business community by organising practical information sessions on issues that directly impact day-to-day operations, workforce wellbeing, and overall community safety.
