Permanent Committee on Gozo Affairs discussing the impact of COVID-19 and the way forward

On the 16 September 2020, GBC President Joseph Borg and CEO Daniel Borg participated in the Standing Committee on Gozo Affairs.  The Committee discussed the impact of COVID-19 and the way forward.  The GBC’s interventions and presentation centred on the results of a survey conducted by the Gozo Business Chamber between the 09th and the 14th September 2020 on the impact of COVID-19 on Gozitan businesses.  Following the issuing of its report ‘Post COVID-19: Strategic and Policy Document’ the GBC highlighted the main measures thar are of high priority and that can start to be implemented imminently.  These measures are intent on diversifying the Gozitan economy, which is presently dependent on certain sectors such as: tourism, construction and real estate.
